Bummis is a no-frills diaper cover and is part of a no-frills diapering system. And you know what? There’s nothing wrong with that! Covers and prefolds/flats are the preferred method of many even when not considering the lower cost of this method versus pockets, AIOs, etc. I use fitteds and covers as my nighttime diapering system and it’s been foolproof so far. One of the covers in that system is the Bummis Whisper Wrap and it does the job more than adequately.
This is an older picture of K sportin’ his Whisper Wrap. This was one of our first cloth diapers. (Sorry for the iPhone pic)
- Cost effective
- Pretty cute patterns
- Velcro, which is normally not my favorite but it’s nice in a two step system when K is getting tired of diaper time.
- Nice laundry tabs. When sealed correctly, this diaper has never caught on anything in the wash
- Not as nice as my other (more expensive) PUL covers
- Velcro looks rattier than snaps (I know, I said I liked it above. It’s a love/hate thing)
