I haven’t owned a pair of slippers since the pair of duck slippers that I had as a kid. It was literally like walking around with stuffed animals tied to my feet. Since then I have always just worn socks or the “slipper socks” with the tread on the bottom. Sure, they keep my feet warm but I can’t run outside or down to the basement with them on without getting them filthy, so more often than not I’m just barefoot.
When the opportunity to review the Nature’s Sleep slippers came along I jumped at the chance. I figured it would be nice to finally own a pair of slippers, and how right I was! I reviewed the open toe slippers:
These slippers may not be the most stylish pair of footwear out there (what slippers are?) but they sure are comfortable! They are made of a high density memory foam so the sole is very cushy and molds to your feet while the terry material is incredibly soft.
While these materials make for a very comfortable pair of slippers, they are also very warm! It will be wonderful in the colder months, but in the summer they make my feet a little sweaty so currently I don’t wear them as often as I will. That aside, I still wear these for running down to the basement to do laundry or to run outside for a minute.
As far as sizing, I feel that they run true to size. I am a small size 6 (some size 6 shoes have a little “room to grow” in them for me, but a 5½ is too small) so I ordered the small pair which is for sizes 5-6. They fit me just right, but for someone who is a half size I would suggest sizing up.
