I am going to say up front that yes, this is a sponsored post, but I accepted the request to write it because I cannot express my love for Miele vacuum cleaners enough. Of all of the appliances in my house, I think my Miele is the one that you will not be able to force me to get rid of.
My two-year-old loves my Miele almost as much as I do so I got him his very own for Christmas and included it in my Toddler Boy Gift Ideas post (and recommended that you get an adult sized one for yourself).
How many times have you replaced your vacuum? I was replacing $100 bagless upright vacuums every year or two and it starts to add up quickly. When our last one died I’d had enough. I discovered the Miele and they came highly recommended by two friends so I decided to purchase one. That was four years ago and I still have the same vacuum and it works just as well as it did the day that I got it. Not to mention, it is so quiet for a vacuum and with it being a canister it’s light, convenient, easy to transport upstairs and store away, and you can buy different brushes for it to fit your needs whether you have wood floors, Berber carpet, or a shag rug.
When we moved from New England to Colorado this past summer I was tempted to bring the Miele in the car with us instead of packing it in the truck because then I would have it for the final vacuum of the house. I ended up letting it go in the truck thinking that I was being silly. There was a vacuum in the basement that I could use and not take up precious room in our SUV. Well, cleaning with the other vacuum took me three times as long and still didn’t pick up everything. So while I ultimately made the right decision to let the Miele go in the truck, I still kind of wish that I would have kept it with us.
Also with Christmas just behind us there were the dreaded Christmas tree needles. Here in Colorado the climate is very dry. Much dryer than we are accustomed to being from humid New England and our tree dried up like a prune. We had so many needles on the floor that we probably could have crafted a tabletop Christmas tree with them. With my Miele, clean up was quick and easy. Now it’s only January and I’m not still finding needles all over the house when in years past, I was finding rogue needles until what felt like May.
So really, if you’re in the market for a new vacuum, consider a Miele. You won’t be sorry you did. Vacuums Unlimited offers tax-free (outside VA) shopping and free shipping.

Funny you should post this. As I was vacuuming yesterday, I thought, “I wonder if she would think I’m weird if I ask to see her vacuum when I meet her.”
Yes, I know I’m a nerd.
Too funny. I tell you what, I’ll even let you vacuum.
