After redecorating, moving into a new home, or taking down the Christmas tree we are often left with unsightly dents in the carpet. Vacuuming over them doesn’t always help so what can you do to get rid of them aside of covering them up with a floor plant?
I had a spot on the carpet near our sliding glass door where the Christmas tree used to be. More than a month after taking it down, the dent was still there and making me crazy. Then I remembered a tip that I saw on Pinterest many months ago and gave it try. It worked like a charm!
Ugly dent left behind from the Christmas tree stand
Lay some ice cubes around the dent
When the ice cubes have melted, take a spatula, spoon, or other tool with a flat surface and use a scraping motion over the dent
Voila! No more ugly carpet dent!

Interesting.
I just vacuum over the dent and then let time take care of the rest

Oh.. loved what you did.
It was a simple thing but it worked.
I wanna try that since I have so many in my carpets at home.
