Pearls By Laurel mother's bracelet review

I love bracelets but not that many fit me. I have small wrists and most bracelets will slide down to the middle of my hand and drive me crazy. When my husband bought me a Pandora bracelet the sales girl asked him if he was sure of the size and seemed positive that it would be too small for an adult, but he said he was sure and even though it would probably fit a child, it isn’t too small at all.

When I saw that Pearls By Laurel was looking for reviewers I quickly applied since I noticed that they had bracelets in a wide variety of sizes. I am excited to tell you about it.

About the bracelet:

Pearls By Laurel is a website where you make your own jewelry in three very simple steps. I went to their site, chose “Design Your Bracelet”, chose how many stones I would like and then dragged the stone colors into the preview area to see how it would look. After being happy with my choice, I checked out and my bracelet was on my doorstep in a couple of days. It couldn’t be easier!

My experience:

The bracelet is so much prettier in person than the preview on the website. The colors are much more vibrant. Since I like symmetry and both my youngest son and husband are November babies, I decided to get birthstones for both of my children as well as myself and The Husband. I love how it turned out.

This is costume jewelry but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.

Materials

This bracelet features only the finest materials, including elegant Swarovski pearls, Czech-sourced rhinestone rondelles, and genuine silver plated components (certified nickel and lead free). It is strung on a durable, stretchy cord which allows the bracelet to slide comfortably over the hand onto the wrist. This is a high-quality piece constructed to last a lifetime.

It feel more sturdy than some other costume jewelry pieces that you can pick up at a store at the mall. If you aren’t happy with your purchase they have a 30 day return policy and if anything happens to your bracelet, they offer a lifetime warranty. As an added bonus you will receive $15 in store credit for referring a friend to their  website.  So really, what have you got to lose?

It comes nicely packaged in a gift box and for just $30 it would make a wonderful stocking stuffer for the mother or grandmother in your life.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I received my braclet yesterday and love the looks of it. It fits perfectly and all 8 of the birthstone Swarovski Pearls are a beautiful color. I worn the braclet to work today and already the silver plated components on the other side of the braclet are showing worn lines. Is this a defect in the braclets or is it what is to be expected, which with continued wear will only get worse. Please let me know about this before I recommend others to purchase it. I have had several inquiries as to where they can be purchased.

      Hi Rosemary,

I haven’t had this problem but I also don’t wear it all the time. I work inside the home so don’t wear jewelry every day and when I do wear it it isn’t being banged on anything like a desk. None of the website reviews mention it either. I wish I could be of more help.
