The fine print:
No purchase necessary, open to US residents age 18 and older unless specified otherwise.
The winner will be chosen by a random drawing, verified and notified via email at the end of the contest. The winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize or a new winner will be chosen. Sorry, no exceptions.
Please note that The Anti-June Cleaver blog is not responsible for sponsors who do not fulfill their prizes. I have represented each sponsor with the expectation they will fulfill their prize and in a timely manner. We will contact the sponsor regarding your prize(s). The sponsors, in most cases, are shipping their items to you directly. We will make every effort to assist you in obtaining your prize. If there is an issue with a sponsor, please notify me within 30 days for assistance, after that I may be unable to assist you. Should this happen I am not responsible for a replacement or alternate prize. I and the sponsor are also not responsible should the post office lose your prize.
Sometimes I self sponsor giveaways. These prizes are always sent with delivery confirmation so if your prize is confirmed as delivered, even if it was delivered to an incorrect address or stolen, I cannot be responsible for a replacement. If your package seems to be lost, I will do what I can to contact the post office for assistance.
**One entrant per household/IP address. Any entrant suspected of cheating will be automatically disqualified and their entries deleted from the giveaway form. Comments are welcome but do not count as entries unless noted on the giveaway form.
Your email address and social media accounts will be collected for entry and verification purposes only. Your information will not be used for any other purpose and will be discarded at the conclusion of the giveaway.
Social Media accounts and giveaways
Giveaways are a great way to promote a new business or product and create a buzz. With that said, in order to be declared the winner of a giveaway on my site you must enter with real social media accounts. A different email address than your regular address is okay and does not count as a social media account.
The reason for this is because companies agree to give one of their products away in the hopes of getting exposure for their brand or product. It is only fair for them to get that in exchange for giving you a free product. A giveaway cannot be properly promoted with a fake account and if companies don’t feel like giveaways are giving them the exposure they are looking for, they may stop sponsoring them.
Any winning entry suspected of being from a fake account will be disqualified and a new winner will be chosen. All entries are optional and if you are not comfortable with using your real account(s) then you are not required to take that entry. If you are concerned with your feeds being clogged with posts from blogs and business, I encourage you to make lists on Facebook and Twitter. This way blogs and companies are out of your main newsfeed but you can still check them to find out more about new giveaways and posts.
All giveaway entries are optional. If you opt to take a comment entry, it must be a relevant comment. If your comment simply says, “thanks for the giveaway”, “nice post”, or similar, that entry will be disqualified.
