Every once in a while you will see “this post contains affiliate links” at the top of a post. But what does it mean?
Running a blog takes a lot of time and costs money. Every month I have to pay for hosting and other services that keep this blog running, such as subscriptions to services for making graphics, scheduling social media posts, etc. It also costs money to buy supplies for posts, yearly domain renewals, and more.
These costs add up, so to help offset those costs, I will sometimes add affiliate links to my posts. This means that when you click on the link and make a purchase, I will receive a very small amount (usually less than 5%) of that purchase for referring you to that product or service. It’s like a thank you from the brand and it doesn’t cost you a single penny extra. You shop as normal and without a single cent coming out of your pocket, you help keep this site running.
I thank you sincerely for your support and for supporting the brands who also support me.
