I received my Boba carrier 4 days ago and have been enjoying it! By the end of a trip to the grocery store in my Ergo my 21 pound leaner would start to cause a little ache in my lower back. Nothing awful, but there anyway. That hasn’t happened with the Boba and I’ve gone to the grocery store, stood around my pre-teen’s school, and various other activities. Baby K even took a nap in it yesterday at the store and we used the sleeping hood which gives more coverage than the Ergo.
Again, today we arrived at a doctor’s appointment for Red and Baby K was sleeping so I went to attach the sleeping hood. Hmm…that’s odd. The snap doesn’t feel right. I look and see that the snap on the shoulder strap had come off yesterday when I took the sleeping hood off. Ugh! So I sent an email to Boba and told them what happened and let them know that this was acquired through another supplier and if I could still have it fixed. Within a half hour I had an awesome response from their customer service department stating that they would replace it ASAP and send me a UPS label to return my defective one. YAY, Boba! You rock my world already.
Update: I received my new Boba on the day that I put the defective one in the mail. They sent out the replacement on good faith and I’m a fan. Rock on, Boba!
Another Update: When I decided to upgrade to the Boba 3G and made the difficult decision to sell my 2G I couldn’t find the foot straps. I contacted Boba to see if I could purchase another set and they said they didn’t offer replacement straps but might have some extras and asked what color I had. A few days later I received matching foot straps, free of charge.
