The weather here in Colorado has been quite mild so we are still enjoying time outside. Just last week we were out in t-shirts and even though it has already snowed twice, there has only been one day that we have worn jackets and that was over a month ago! But today the weather is making a turn and we are expecting some snow this weekend.
Since my toddler is my outdoor kid who gets bored easily, I was looking online for some toddler activities and crafts and compiled them in a post last week. I am looking for materials to make a sensory table. Unfortunately this is going to take some ingenuity as we are not woodworking people, nor do we have the proper tools to make an actual table. I am looking online for ideas and we will “git ‘er done”.
I plan on doing a lot of baking and hope to start a small little business selling my baked goods. I would also like to play some games with my older son if I can get his nose out of a book. I know, that’s such a tough “problem” to have, isn’t it?
We also have a lot of things to do in the Denver area that are indoors like the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, the Downtown Aquarium, the Butterfly Pavilion, the Wildlife Experience Museum, as well as some indoor fun centers and much more. It’s so nice to finally live in an area where there is a lot to do and I am looking forward to exploring some of the indoor activities that are nearby.
