Today is the beginning of another blog challenge where we are encouraged, with daily prompts, to write and keep the ideas flowing. This is especially good for me since I can’t seem to get out of my own way for the past few months.
To kick things off, we are writing about our favorite way to welcome the winter or holiday season. Truth be told, Winter is not my favorite season. I am not a fan of the cold and leafless trees. BUT I am a fan of the holidays!
In my house we don’t have much of a chance to slowly ease in to the holidays. November hits and it’s like gangbusters around here! K-Dub’s birthday is November 5th, Thanksgiving, The Husband’s birthday is November 30th, Red’s birthday is December 8th, Christmas, New Year’s Eve/Day, then our anniversary on January 23rd.
So I don’t have much recollection of how I welcome the Winter/Holiday season, but I do know that I end it with a lot more grey hairs! But you know, I like it this way. Before you know it, the fun craziness is over and it’s Spring again.
