I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for Nutri-Grain. I received product samples and promotional item to thank me for participating.
And I don’t mean just the belly grumbles. I am not now nor have I ever been a morning person. It takes me a long time to wake up and very rarely do I ever make myself breakfast. More often than not I go without but sometimes I keep something easy on hand that I can grab to eat along with my cup of coffee. When I had the chance to try the new Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Bars I thought that these might be the perfect solution for me.
I make most things from scratch but cereal bars are one of the exceptions. I keep them around for my kids to grab when we’re running around on the weekend and lunch might come later in the day than we’d like. They love them but typical cereal bars aren’t my cup of tea. The Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest bars are more my speed. They taste more like a homemade fruit bar so I keep them high up in the cabinet so no one steals them on me. Yup, I’m that mom.
When my teenager is at school and it’s just the three-year-old and I hanging out for the day we will run to the library or do a little shopping. I am doing my best to get better at grabbing a snack so I have more energy and am less likely to be crabby. A crabby mom plus a three-year-old makes for a very long day so I grab a Nutri-Grain Harvest bar and we head out to the car to start our day.
Each bar has 4 grams of protein and combines real fruit with whole grains so they keep me satisfied until lunch time. They are available in Strawberry and Blueberry Bliss and both are delicious. If you’re like me and have a hard time finding your get-up-and-go in the morning give the new Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest bars a try. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
