This post was created in partnership with Quaker. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have never made it a secret that I’m not a morning person. This means that I don’t always make the time for breakfast. Although I make sure that my three-year-old has a healthy breakfast every morning, most of the time coffee is breakfast for me and that’s not good. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Recently I was given the opportunity to try Quaker Breakfast Shakes in chocolate and strawberry. While I wouldn’t make this my sole source of nutrition every morning it was very convenient to be able to go to the fridge and grab one on the mornings when I’m not inspired to have more than coffee. It gave me a boost of protein to get me going and satisfy any hunger pangs I may have.
But how did they taste?
Unlike some other meal replacement shakes I’ve tried, these didn’t have that sometimes strange “meal shake” taste to them. They tasted like chocolate and strawberry milk which I was very pleased with.
- 3 tasty flavors – Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry
- 10g of Protein, 8g of Whole Grains, 6g of Fiber* at 200 calories
- Boost your morning with the goodness you want
The bottle is a very convenient size too. It fit nicely in my purse and one morning I drank one in the car while heading out to run a few errands. So if you often find yourself pressed for time or just don’t have much inspiration in the morning, why not give Quaker Breakfast Shakes a try?
