This was a frustrating week because, you know, AF wreaked havoc with the scale. Honestly, I really should start taking my measurements instead because even though my stomach looks a little smaller, the scale plays mind games. It’s evil. According to my scale I gained three pounds this week. I knew that it wasn’t real so I tried not to let it mess with my head. On weigh in day yesterday I was dead even. No loss, no gain. That was better than nothing but still not good enough so I weighed again this morning. Another half pound gone so I feel much better now. It may have been more if I wasn’t so bad about drinking water this week.
I feel like I’m starting to get in the groove with the Nutrisystem plan but getting my water in is still a struggle. I have never been one to drink much of anything throughout the day (which is probably a reason for my chronic headaches) so getting eight glasses of water in per day is something that I still have to work on. Other than that, things are going well.
This week we did go out for pizza but I got the pizza and salad bar. Instead of two plates of pizza I had two plates of salad (they’re small plates) and two small pieces of pizza along with a water. For the rest of the day I stuck to the plan instead of declaring it an all out cheat day.
Here is a look at some things that I’ve eaten this week:
Buttermilk waffles and Greek yogurt (breakfast)
Chicken fajita melt and a salad (lunch)
Beef patty in a whole wheat tortilla w. hummus and salad, pickle, and mixed vegetables (dinner)
Cheese ravioli with green beans and spinach (dinner)
All of the above meals were really good and I didn’t feel deprived at all!
My weight loss this week was .6 pounds for a total of 6.4 pounds.
