Do you hear me, bugs? You are not allowed to feel at home here. You’re like the unpleasant houseguest that just won’t leave, but guess what? I have your eviction notice here in a can. Hot Shot® Insecticides has been helping me rid my home and yard of a variety of bugs all summer long.
For some reason we have had an unusually difficult year with pesky wildlife and a variety of insects. A new problem that we had this year is that we were being overrun with weevils! Where in the world did they come from? In general they are harmless bugs that won’t bite, infest food, or ruin fabrics but yuck! They were climbing up my walls and chilling out on my ceiling. No, thank you.
Even though it doesn’t specifically say that it works on weevils I sprayed Hot Shot® Ant and Roach killer along the windows and door jambs outside in an effort to stop new ones from coming in. Thankfully they seem to have almost run their course because really, it felt like they were everywhere!
In addition to the weevils upstairs we have a fully finished basement downstairs that is home to more spiders than I’ve ever seen in my life! I have stopped going down there to watch movies because I had a spider crawling on the wall behind my head one too many times. I go down to spray occasionally but hang out down there? Not anymore!
Let’s not even talk about the huge spiders making a nice little home in the corner by one of the grills. I sprayed Hot Shot® Ant and Roach killer directly on it as well as any of its friends that I see to try to keep the spider problem at bay.
If I have to use an insecticide I prefer not to use one that has an overpowering odor. Hot Shot® Ant and Roach killer smells more like an air freshener than a bug spray which has been really nice. While you get rid of the bugs in and around your house it doesn’t also make you want to leave because of the smell.
Now that I’ve shown you where all of the bugs hide in and around my house, now is the time to show Hot Shot® Insecticides where your favorite hiding place is. Head over to their Facebook page to enter to win!
