I am a member of the Tommee Mommee blogger program. I have been compensated for this post but all opinions and experiences are my own.
Where has the time gone? I can’t believe that Christmas is just nine days away. Now with 2014 coming to a close I am looking back at the products that have made our lives easier and more fun this past year. I have rounded up the kids’ products that I recommend for every family with kids; from gear to toys to cloth diapers.
What have been your favorite products this year? Read on to find out which ones made my list.
Tommee Tippee section plates
For lunch and snacks Tommee Tippee section plates are a perfect choice. We used these plates when Dub was a baby along with the Easi-Mat to keep his plate on his high chair and we’ve pulled them out again this year. Dub has started to prefer that certain foods not touch. He likes to have applesauce in one compartment, a sandwich in another, and a veggie or goldfish crackers in another compartment. Once again we are using these great plates every day.
When it comes to style, ease, and safety the Clek Foonf has it all! We were able to keep Dub rear facing until five weeks before his fourth birthday which is difficult in a lot of seats, especially when your child has a long torso like mine does. Easy to install, built like a tank, and easy to use, the Foonf is worth the price and then some.
My love of Boba baby carriers started with the Boba 2G years ago. I didn’t think that I could love this carrier more but with each new release they make it just that much better. The Boba 4G has made some fabulous changes in the shape that have made it even more comfortable. At 40 pounds we can still wear Dub with ease.
Leap Frog LeapReader
Over a decade ago my oldest son was given a Leap Pad and it was one of his favorite toys for years. Last month was Dub’s birthday and I wanted to get him something similar since his older brother loved it so much but I don’t want to go the tablet route just yet. I discovered the Leap Frog LeapReader and thought that it would be the perfect compromise and I was right. Dub plays with this every day either along with the books or to listen to stories through the speaker on the pen.
Sparkbox Toys isn’t a toy or even a brand of toys, it is a toy rental service. You choose how often you’d like to receive toys, pay the subscription price, the toys arrive on your doorstep, you mail them back when you’re done. Shipping is free and the toys are high quality, unique, and educational. With as often as my kids have played with a toy for a week and left it in a corner to collect dust for the rest of its days, I think Sparkbox is a genius idea.
Lalabye Baby Ahoy cloth diaper
I kept hearing great things about the Lalabye Baby cloth diaper but since I keep hoping for Dub to potty train I had stopped buying cloth diapers . . . until I saw this print. Ahoy. It is so vibrant and fun I had to have one. The print and the diaper are both amazing and I wish I had discovered them sooner.
Kidorable rain boots
Quality, fun styles, and a reasonable price tag make Kidorable rain boots another one of our favorite discoveries this year. Dub loved these boots so much that he wore them everywhere for two weeks when we first got them. Shorts and rain boots on a sunny day make for quite the ensemble.
I love to hear about great new products and I would love to hear about your favorite products over this past year.
