My family received complimentary tickets to visit Anderson Farms in exchange for my honest review.
The Fall Festival at Anderson Farms in Erie, Colorado is here! Enjoy all of the fall fun you can handle from now until October 31st.
Ever since our second fall in Colorado, Anderson Farms has been our family tradition. We have tried a few other farms in the area and while fine, they don’t even compare to the fun of Anderson Farms. Carve out several hours to pick your fall pumpkins from their huge pumpkin patch and get lost in their corn maze. Let the kids ride the barrel train, ride a pony, feed the goats and llamas, play in their playground, and so much more!
Family fun at Anderson Farms
I love the yearly family photo opps that are available all around the farm. They are so much fun to look at year after year. Anderson Farms is also our official yearly measuring stick for the kids. We always get a picture of them here to see how they grow from year to year.
Pony rides, barrel trains, and more!
There is enough fun to keep the whole family entertained. For the little ones, they can ride the barrel train, ride a pony, and play in the playground. There is also a little maze for the young kids to walk through, a large playscape, and a wooden train play area. While the kids play, the parents can take a breather in the covered picnic tables with a drink or snack from the restaurant.
You can also go on a hayride, ride the pedal karts, catch a magic show, and enjoy good food and live music.
Shoot zombies, targets, and pan for fossils and gems.
Even the big kids have plenty to do at Anderson Farms. New this year are a zombie shooting gallery and a “pumpkin” shooting cannon.
A favorite for every year for my budding geologist is mining for gems. You can buy a bag of sand with things like gems, shark teeth, fossils, and a mixed bag to see what you get. This year we got a few arrowheads, a geode, some crystals, amethyst, agate, quartz stones, and more.
Pick the perfect pumpkin
Of course, you can’t forget to head out to the pumpkin patch on a tractor to pick out your perfect pumpkin. You will find traditional pumpkins as well as white, grey, and other specialty pumpkins to make your porch extra festive. We love picking our pumpkins with the beautiful white capped Rocky Mountain backdrop behind us.
If you haven’t visited Anderson Farms in Erie, Colorado yet, you are in for a treat. I bet you will make it one of your yearly must-go fall family destinations.
