My GoodReads Challenge: 20 Books That I'll Be Reading in 2016 (some older, some newer)

Are you on GoodReads? Have you ever signed up for their yearly reading challenge? If not, it’s more of a personal goal for yourself instead of a real challenge and last year was the first year that I signed up. Needless to say, I shot a little high in my goal and didn’t make it. This year, I made a more attainable goal of twenty books to read in 2016. That’s a book every two to three weeks so I should be able to make this goal. I will be adding my review of each of these books on my Goodreads account if you’d like to know what I thought about a particular title.

The books on my list aren’t all recent releases. Some are, but some have been sitting on my bookshelf for years that I haven’t read yet since I have a habit of hoarding books, both physical books and e-books. It’s time for me to finally read them and I hope that my list helps you come up with a book or two to read this year beyond the it books of the past year or two.

Finally, after some thought, the twenty books I will be reading in 2016 are…

I am reading The Book of Speculation at the moment. The Book Thief and Water for Elephants were both really good books. How was What Alice Forgot?

I will have to check it out!

What Alice Forgot was good. There was one aspect that didn’t fit very well in the story for me, but I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

I’m currently reading “Not That Kind Of A Girl”. Thanks for this list! I love reading and will definitely take a deeper look into these books!

I am popping over from the Mommy Monday Blog Hop! I love these book suggestions! I would love a suggestion for the first one to read? I am a wimp and can not handle scary stuff in anyway, tense yes- scary no. I also seem to not be able to handle any kind of abuse with kids when it comes to books ( or anything really). But I love a good book that I can’t put down, so with that said- If you were me what book would you start with?

Hi Amber,

I have only finished one of these books so far, What Alice Forgot. It isn’t scary at all and is actually a good book. I would recommend it.
