Having a fourteen year old son means that almost every morning is the age old battle of what to eat for breakfast. Since he has to leave the house at 6:20 every morning to catch the bus we need some quick breakfast ideas for him to choose from or he won't eat at all. It is important for him to eat breakfast so he can cope with a rigorous high school schedule; especially during his last week of school as he takes his final exams.
Cereal is boring, eggs take too long, and donuts and pastries just aren't an option in our home.
I took the kids to Walmart to look for some easy breakfasts for the last week of school because honestly, I'm burned out with coming up with ideas for Red to eat for breakfast just to be met with, "I don't want that." This is where Tyson Day Starts come in.
We chose the sausage and cheese biscuits as well as the Colby and Monterey Jack wrapped omelets to try.
Not only did my teenager enjoy Tyson Day Starts, it turns out that both The Husband and I are also big fans of the sausage biscuits. The biscuit was much flakier than I expected from something from the microwave.
Even Dub enjoyed the wrapped omelets, or cheese and egg quesadillas as he called them. Everything wrapped up is a quesadilla to him.
