I received a complimentary product in exchange for my honest review.

Inspired by their daughter, the Yummi Pouch reusable food pouch was developed by a husband and wife team. They wanted an easy, eco-friendly, cost-effective way to feed their daughter while on the go.

Yummi Pouch reusable food pouches are reusable and come in several different sizes, styles, and colors as well as a variety of gift sets and accessories.Yummi Pouch Review

We reviewed the standard and the sport pouch for our three-year-old.

Yummi Pouch ReviewWhen I first looked at the Yummi Pouch I was a bit baffled as to how I was supposed to get anything into it, then I had that aha! moment. I noticed the opening at the top, had a good laugh at myself and went ahead to make my son a simple smoothie.

Yummi Pouch ReviewGetting fruit into my son isn’t a problem. He would live on it if we’d let him! But now that I had a reusable food pouch to try out I decided to give him something a little different. I had some frozen fruit in the freezer for my own smoothies so I made him a version of mine but without any kind of protein powder.

It’s very simple. Add about a cup of frozen fruit of your choice (we used pineapple, peach, and mango), about a cup of almond milk, and blend until smooth and add more almond milk if needed for your desired consistency. I defrosted the fruit for about 30 seconds in the microwave so it was easier to blend but still a bit frozen.

Yummi Pouch ReviewI poured it into the pouch and he loved it! Both the Yummi Pouch and the smoothie. He hasn’t used anything like this before so there was a little confusion as to how to use it but he figured it out quickly.

Yummi Pouch ReviewThe Yummi Pouch is easy to use, fun, and portable. We can pack smoothies and even applesauce for a day trip or a hike and we don’t have to bring any extra spoons or straws. When we’re done we open it up, put it in the dishwasher and store away to use it again.

I would advise keeping an eye on your toddler in case they put the pouch down before they’ve finished what’s inside because it will spill a little bit. Overall we are very happy with the Yummi Pouch. We have used them for walks, trips to the park and just hanging around the house.

Buy It

You can buy then Yummi Pouch in several different sizes. These are a neat stocking stuffer idea, too!

I just bought a bunch of yummi pouches but haven’t had a chance to give them a try yet since my little one has had the stomach flu and we are limiting his fruit intake. I can’t wait to give them a try though and I may start with your smoothie recipe!
