Holiday Gift Guide: Unit Bricks Earth-Friendly Building Blocks Review

Wooden building blocks were always one of my favorite toys and have been a favorite with our kids as well. My boys are builders so they love anything that they can build and create with. While fabulous toys, standard blocks have some drawbacks. They’re heavy, large, and don’t always come in unique shapes to build really cool houses, towers, and bridges. Unit Bricks wants to change all that with their Earth-friendly, sustainable, organic all wood building blocks.

I received the 72 Piece Mini Unit Bricks Architect Set for review and can’t wait to tell you why these building blocks are the perfect addition to your holiday shopping list.

First and foremost, we love wooden toys in our house. In my opinion, wooden toys are made better, are more sturdy for my son who is very hard on toys, and they have a lower footprint than plastic toys. I love that Unit Bricks are sustainable and use non-toxic organic colors.

When I first opened the box I was impressed with the shapes of the blocks. There are rounded pieces to make cool arches and some of the other pieces reminded me almost like Tetris pieces.

Unit Bricks are smaller than typical blocks and are very easy for Dub to work with. The bricks are lightweight and are easy for Dub to balance on top of each other so he can make towers and archways.
