I had a chance to review one of I See Me’s personalized children’s books for my son about three years ago and it still remains a cherished addition to my son’s library. Since the book we have is specific to his second birthday, I wanted to get him another book that was more general and for his age group right now. He just turned five so I chose M is for Me to review.
Having a more unusual name, Dub doesn’t have the luxury of finding his name on things. I also have a more unusual name and when I was young this used to really bug me. I was so jealous of the kids who had pencils, notebooks, and keychains with their names on them, but today kids with unusual names or alternative spellings can get things with their names on them thanks to the Internet.
In the front of the book, there is a dedication page where you can write a message to your child and include a photo. Since the review of this book came as Dub was starting Pre-K, we gave this to him to celebrate that. I love giving books as first day of school gifts and this is even more special.
M is for Me is a cute book that goes through the alphabet and has your child’s name or the first letter of their name sprinkled throughout. Our favorite page is where his name is written in the stars. On some pages, their name is easy to find and on others you have to look for it. Now that Dub can spell his name, he loves to find his name on the pages.
The artwork is great and the pages and binding are very high quality. This is a wonderful keepsake for the child in your life. I See Me! personalized children’s books are great gifts for holidays, first days of school, and birthdays. We love both of our I See Me! books and hope to eventually add more to our library.
You can purchase your own I See Me! personalized books directly from their website. Most books are $29.99 or $34.99.
