In honor of my anniversary and trying to find the perfect 7th anniversary gift, I would like to introduce you to a tradition that my husband and I have. It all started on our first anniversary when my husband and I thought it would be fun to give each other traditional anniversary gifts each year.

Traditional gifts for the first anniversary are paper and clocks so I got my husband his fishing license and a printed gift certificate to Cabela’s for fishing gear while he gave me a metal wall clock with a pendulum. It started as a bit of a joke that has turned into a tradition for the past seven years.

It’s a fun tradition that has its challenges when the traditional 7th anniversary gifts are copper and wool. Coming up with a gift made of wool for a man who runs hot is tricky, but that’s all part of the fun.

If you also follow this tradition and are stuck on what to get for your husband or wife for your 7th anniversary, here are some fun, unique, and practical gift ideas for him, her, and for a couple.

A gift made of copper is the traditional gift for the 7th anniversary. This may seem like a hard one, but there are many great options if you think outside of the box.

The other traditional alternative for a 7th anniversary gift is wool. It may seem a little boring to buy your significant other a pair of wool socks and call it an anniversary, but this list will give you some ideas beyond socks and sweater.

I hope this list has given you some great ideas and inspiration for the perfect 7th anniversary gifts for him or her. But most of all, enjoy your day and wishes for many more great years ahead!
