My son is three so we’re no longer teething (thankfully) but he does still wear his
amber teething necklaces as a fashion statement. How can I resist when they’re so darned cute? I love the look of them and besides, amber isn’t just for teething.
Amber contains succinic acid which is said to be a powerful anti oxidant that helps fight toxic free radicals in the body. In additional to help ease the pain of teething, it produces a natural calming effect and can boost our natural immunity to stress and infection. Amber has self-healing properties and can be used to help relieve inner ear problems, stomach complaints, anxiety, depression, and sore throats. It may also help strengthen the central nervous system, lungs and spine.
So even after your baby is finished teething it can still be beneficial to them as well as adults.
We have another well-known brand of amber necklace and I can say that the quality of the Amber for Babies necklace is equal. The beads are well strung and knotted in between each bead. The clasp is secure but made of plastic (like the other necklaces we have) as a safety measure. If your child gets caught on something the clasp will break free. The beads are matched for even color and the necklace is definitely of high quality.
But does it work?
There are those who swear by baltic amber and those who don’t. Everyone’s experience will vary but I can say that when my son was teething and wore a necklace I could tell a difference in his fussiness. I didn’t put it on at night because I was worried about it and noticed an increase in fussiness. I also noticed a difference on the days that we forgot to put it on. But don’t take my word for it, try one for yourself!

Teething necklaces makes it easier not only for the child but for the mother as well. I been wanting to try this for my goddaughter because she is starting to teeth and her mother is at a lost so even if I do not win I will still buy it for her because it seems like the perfect solution.

Up until a few months ago I had never heard of Baltic amber teething necklaces or bracelets/anklets. After hearing so many of my friend’s positive experiences with them and reading such great reviews I’m convinced I absolutely need one!
I’m excited to find a new place to buy our Amber. I had a great result with my first child, but the company I bought them from went out of business. With my second, it didn’t seem to work at all… later I realized that I got scammed with plastic beads- no wonder it didn’t work! I love using amber with my kids! I truly think it helps. If I won the giveaway, I would choose a raw necklace (probably lemon or honey – so pretty!!!) since I’ve heard that raw beads are more effective than polished.
