Rachel Danish is the owner and lead designer of BABY by danish. She believes that you don’t have to sacrifice style for function and if you’ve seen her beautiful wet bags, you know that she stands behind her mission!

I have seen these wet bags in blog reviews here and there and knew that one day I just had to find out if they were as functional as they were beautiful. When I signed up for the Mother’s Day Cloth Diaper Giveaway Hop I contacted Rachel to see if she was interested in being a sponsor. I was thrilled when she agreed and she sent me a wet bag in the Earthy Owls print to review.
It is every bit as gorgeous in person as it is in pictures. I absolutely love the look of this bag! It is so unique and cute without being cutesy. The two prints together are a stroke of genius.
When I first opened the wet bag and felt it, it felt almost like a canvas to me. It’s a very sturdy and durable feeling fabric and so is the inner lining. I have had a few wet bags that feel like nothing more than some PUL inside but this bag is very well constructed. One of my favorite features is that there is a handle which is something I have typically only found in large wet bags.
This is what the bag looks like when it is stuffed full:
And this is what was inside:
It is the size of your average medium wet bag; perfect for a day out of the house. I use wet bags instead of a diaper pail so I will use this in my regular rotation as well. I have another (slightly larger than) medium wet bag and the two of them together hold about the same amount as my extra large bags.
Since I use wet bags instead of a pail it is very important that a wet bag hold in moisture and odors. This sat for almost three days without wicking and it held in all smells. This included a morning diaper that K wore overnight for 12 hours. Because of this I would feel perfectly comfortable with using this bag while out or for really wet items such as swimsuits. This wet bag is definitely just as functional as it is beautiful.
This is what the BABY by danish website has to say about their bags:
about the bags
Here at BABY by danish, we work hard to ensure that our materials and construction guarantee the highest quality wet bag. That’s why we use a thick cotton exterior, and heavy lining fabric. The waterproof lining is a medical grade barrier fabric that stands up to heavy duty use and frequent laundering. It is also safe, meeting CIPSA standards and free of BPA, phlalate, cadmium, and lead. It is also food safe. The lining is heat bonded (without chemicals), fusing the layers together to create a strong waterproof seal. The bag is then finished with a durable water-resistant YKK zipper.
Our wet bags are proudly hand made in the USA, and all fabrics are sourced from the USA or Canada.
In addition to wet bags they also sell super cute wet clutches in the same fabulous prints. The clutch would be great for wipes, mama cloth and maybe even make up!

I love, love, love their prints!!!! I think this was my favorite giveaway in the whole blog hop. I hope I win!!!
I definitely need another wetbag for on the go. Right now, I have to make sure I do laundry when I won’t be going out (that or I dont wash the bag!)
Wow..Cute prints..Love them!
Love the bag!
These look so different than other wet bags on the market! I love them!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the prints! best out there!
I really like how they put a contrasting fabric in the corner!
I’ve seen several reviews on her bag and they have been nothing but good. Would love to try one!
These bags are just beautiful. The pink elephant one would be amazing for a baby girl, and I would love to have the Earthy Owl print one for the fall. The green would be wonderful for spring too. Thanks for the great giveaway!
very cute
Super cute prints! I like the clutches too.
These prints are adorable and I’m impressed with how much the bag can hold!
Those prints are just SO cute!
These are some of the cutest wet bags I have seen. Wet bags are still on my list of things I need before the little one arrives and it looks like I will be saving up for this one.
It’s nice to know they don’t wick – I have one that does 🙁
That is a very cute wetbag!
super cute wet bags… been wanting one..
Those prints are so beautiful! 🙂 Wet bags are almost as much fun to collect as the diapers.
these are quite possibly the greatest wet bags i have ever seen!
I can’t believe all those diapers fit in that wetbag! That’s awesome! I love the prints too! So cute!
Love thir style! Hope to own one someday:)
Those have to be the most stylish wetbags I’ve ever seen! All the prints are gorgeous… I want them all!
these wet bags are so cute, love all the prints!
I love that it has a handle.
I just love the owl and the elephant prints. I would have such a hard time deciding on which I like best.
Wow! I haven’t ever heard of Baby by Danish but I have to say, you have me sold! I really like the design (in terms of functionality) but that you mentioned how long you had the diapers in the bag without wicking. That’s great! Plus, how many you could fit in that bag is fantastic. Her print designs are very cute and different. But, the thing that really got me at the end was the clutch! How clever. I’d give mama cloth a try if I had one of those. It has been my reason for hesitating in trying it, no where to put it when I’m out. Wonderful review!
I really like that the bags are not overly babyish — this is a wet bag that I’d like to keep in my kitchen for non-paper towels and napkins!
I love the detail that goes into their construction! And I adore their prints and design!
What a great idea to make a wet-wipe clutch to match the wetbag… such pretty prints!
I have been drying to try these wetbags! They are super cute, and the patterns offered are awesome!
Wow, I can see that being useful even after the kids grow out of diapers!
Aww! The earthly owls bag is adorable. Glad to hear they worked well for you. I agree about the handle aspect. I don’t see why most smaller wet bags don’t come with one!
These wet bags are adorable! I want one!
I love the fun modern prints. Way more fun than the solid black one I have now!
Their wetbags are absolutely aodrable!! I also love that they hold so many diapers too. I would choose either the owl or the Black & White Damask
I love these prints. Some of them are girly enough that I can love them, but in colors that I can still use despite the fact that I have a boy. That makes me happy LOL
I love your prints!! Thanks for the giveaway!
such beautiful prints!! i LOVE the elephant print.
Oh my goodness! I can’t believe you fit 6 diapers in there! Really impressive for the size. It is super cute too – I love the owls and colors!
Oh I MUST have that owl print wetbag! How adorable are these!!
Those bags are adorable. I love the owl print the best.
Love the elephant print!
Love these wet bags and the prints! My wet bags are starting to get a little worn and I would love to get one of these to replace them… my favorite is the Black & White Damask
I love the prints on these wet bags, I feeli like I need one! The thought of it being a canvas type material on the outside is a great idea making it more modern looking I bet!
I love all their prints, but the Blue Tweet is definitely my favorite! I need a good medium sized wet bag, I’ll have to try this one.
A friend of mine is pregnant and i’ll make sure she thinks about using less plastic and more cotton when the baby is born. Tnaks for all this great material!
I love their fashion forward prints! I love wetbags, they are awesome! Thanks for sharing information about baby by danish and thanks to them for sponsoring!
LOVE the pink elephant print!
I really would love one of those clutches. I’ve been looking for something like that! I keep my lip gloss, lotions, hand sanitizer, etc. in a ziplock bag in my purse so they won’t ruin the purse if they spill, but I’ve been wanting a more chic option!
Such cute prints! I really love the Blue Tweet 🙂
