Thanks Mama is a family-owned cloth diaper and natural parenting store based in Boston.  A lot of the items that they sell, they also own and use in their own family. Thanks Mama offers a wide variety of cloth diapering and natural parenting items as well as toys, baby gear, and even furniture.

Thanks Mama graciously sent me a Tots Bots Easy Fit diaper to review. I have wanted to try a Tots Bots for a long time and I wasn’t disappointed.

The Easy Fit is a one-size all-in-one (AIO) diaper with a snap-down rise and a hook & loop closure. At this time the Easy Fit only comes in H&L but is coming out with a snap option very soon.

The insert is what I would call a tongue style. The “tongue” can be tucked into the pocket opening and will come out in the wash. Just take the diaper off and throw it in your wet bag or pail. No need to unstuff it

The inside lining is made up of two layers. One layer is rayon from bamboo and is super soft. The second layer is microfiber. This creates a very absorbent yet very trim diaper.

We didn’t add any extra absorbency and haven’t had any leaks yet this is the trimmest diaper in my stash by quite a bit. It’s easily as trim as a disposable diaper.

Hardly any bulk in the bum

I am a snaps fan but this hook & loop is great! K-Dub tugs at the front of his diapers and this didn’t come loose at all. The laundry tabs are fabulous and stayed stuck in the wash.

This photo was taken the last time he wore the diaper and look how new the hook & loop looks after being washed a few times! No fraying or fuzzies because it stays stuck and doesn’t fold up to catch little lint balls along the way.

This diaper would be a perfect choice for daycares since they are easy to use and maintain and won’t look ratty after a few washes.

  • Very soft against baby’s skin
  • Super trim yet absorbent
  • Great colors and prints
  • High quality hook & loop
  • Very easy to use
  • Daycare friendly
  • Dad friendly!

This is a fantastic diaper that lives up to everything that I’ve ever heard about it. The only negative that I have to say is that the bamboo lining holds stains more than microfleece or other types of linings, but this is true of all of the natural fiber diapers that I own. The fact that a snaps version is coming out very soon is a great option.

  12. tots bots is on my “must try” list. i typically prefer snaps as well, but i have heard many great thigns about tots bots aplix. i’ve only ever had one other diaper with the “tongue” style insert, and i hated it but the pocket was very narrow so it was hard to stuff…these pockets look wide enough for it to not be an issue.
