Oh My DeVita Baby Body Wash & Shampoo Review

While it isn’t always easy to eliminate all chemicals from your home, the one place that it’s very important for me is in the products that touch my children’s skin. When it comes to shampoos and cleansers, the purer the better. 

I was given the opportunity to review Oh My DeVita Baby body wash and shampoo in both the Fragrance-Free and the Calming Calendula scent. While the baby wash isn’t listed on the Skin Deep database, their other products are and only have a rating of 1 which means that these products are a very low hazard. I was very excited about this.

The ingredients in Oh My DeVita Baby body wash are very simple:

Aloe barbadensis * (Aloe vera) gel, Saponaria officialis (Soapwort) extract, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine (derived from coconut), Persea gratissima* (Avocado) oil, Sesamum indicum (Sesame) seed oil, Tropaeolum majus (Cress) extract, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet almond) oil, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Capric/Caprylic triglycerides (derived from coconut oil, Cinchona calisaya (Cinchona) extract, Tocopherol (Vitamin E – derived from sunflowers).

Calming Calendula is a very light, earthy scent. I don’t like overly perfumed scents so I love that the smell isn’t overpowering. On the other hand, the Fragrance-Free really is scent-free. It has a very slight odor which is to be expected but I find that often “unscented” products have almost an alcohol smell. This doesn’t have that. 

Oh My DeVita Baby is a combination of body wash and shampoo. It is clear and has a nice lather to it when applied either on the body or hair. My son smells nice and clean after using this and I would recommend it to anyone who is concerned about the products they expose their children to.

A little goes a long way and the bottle is a generous size so it’s economical as well; something that isn’t often associated with natural products. These two bottles will last us a very long time.
