I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to review the aden + anais organic cotton muslin crib sheet. I chose the Starstruck sheet since it matches K’s room decor almost perfectly.

When I first opened the box I was immediately struck by how soft and airy the fabric is.  It’s impossible to get the “feel” of the fabric on film but I tried!

The aden + anais organic cotton muslin is an open weave so it allows for liberal airflow so that it is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Muslin also is said to get softer with each wash but I haven’t had this one long enough to confirm or deny that, but after just one washing so far I can say that I am jealous and want one for my bed!

After washing this sheet and getting it in K’s crib I couldn’t wait to put him to bed. When I did, I kid you not, he laid his head down and ran his hand back and forth across the sheet a few times!

Not only is the fabric of this sheet wonderful, but so is the fit. The elastic is fitted all around so you don’t have to worry about it bunching up or coming off the mattress. The elastic is tight and I have no doubt that it will stay in tact for a long time. It is a stretchy elastic, but you don’t have to fight with it to get it on securely. Overall I am thrilled with this crib sheet and want at least one more. And hint, hint, I would love aden + anais to start making standard sized bedding so that I can have a set, too!
