Giggle Life Bamboo Cloth Diaper Review

Giggle Life is a Canadian company that makes cloth diapers as well as baby shoes, baby carriers and other items. I have seen reviews for their bamboo diapers on other blogs and loved their vibrant colors. I am also a fan of bamboo diapers so I was thrilled that they agreed to let me review one of their bamboo diapers.

When I went to their website to choose my diaper I had no idea that they now offered a couple of prints. I was ecstatic to see that they had this owl print that is very similar to another diaper that I used to own. I loved this print and I had a hard time parting with it when I found that the other diaper wasn’t going to work for us. Even better is that this diaper is made of minky!

The Giggle Life diaper is a one size diaper that fits babies from 8-33 pounds. I find this to be a generously sized diaper in comparison to a lot of my other one size diapers so I wouldn’t be surprised if it exceeded that limit. It has a minky outer, a bamboo inner lining, and comes with two bamboo inserts

The pocket opening is nice and wide for easy stuffing. These inserts are different from all of my other diapers. They are floppy and seem thin but we haven’t had a single leak with this diaper. I love bamboo for this reason; great absorbency without the bulk! I also love bamboo for its softness against the skin.

We use the Giggle Life diaper with both inserts. I haven’t tried it with just the one because it’s trim enough with both so why not use them? It  has a nice fit in the bum and holds up well to toddler gymnastics

At 19½ months and 25½ pounds this diaper fits easily on the middle rise and the smallest snap setting. It has a nice wide, flat front that I like as well.

The leg elastics are nice and snug. They hold messes in without leaving red marks and allow for comfortable movement

The snap placement on this diaper is different from other diapers that I have used. Instead of a bottom snap that aligns with the top snap, there is one bottom snap that aligns with the second snap. It hasn’t caused any issues for us and even without that extra snap the bottom of the tabs don’t curl. I do wonder if it will give K something the grab and possibly unsnap the diaper now that he has been experimenting with that but only time will tell.
