How and Where to Register for Cloth Diapers (US)

Cloth diapers are getting more and more popular every day, but it still isn’t a mainstream decision. A staple gift at just about every baby shower is a pack or even a case of disposable diapers and as a parent who intends to use cloth diapers, this probably isn’t a gift that you want to get. Instead, why not register for cloth diapers?

When I was pregnant with Dub I was still unsure of whether or not I was going to use cloth, if I was going to do it full time, or what. Because of this, I decided to register for some cloth diapers and “eco-friendly” disposable diapers. I thought that my intentions were pretty clear, but I still didn’t receive a single cloth diaper or any eco-friendly diapers. However, I did get a Huggies diaper cake and a case of Pampers.

I know they meant well, but it annoyed me that either my registry wasn’t looked at or my obvious wishes (or so I thought) were ignored. Don’t let this annoyance happen to you. If I had to do it all over again I would register for cloth diapers at a cloth diaper specific retailer instead of adding cloth diapers to my Amazon registry so there wasn’t any confusion as to how I wanted to diaper my baby.

But how do I find out which stores (in the US) have baby registries, you may ask? Read on…

Where to register for cloth diapers

If you are lucky enough to have a cloth diaper retailer nearby you can probably set up a registry in the store. If not, there are plenty of online retailers where you can register for cloth diapers, some of which also have a local brick and mortar location for the best of both worlds.
